A high-pressure condensate pump and safety features allow for 24-hour operation. This 2.5-ton portable air conditioner is perfect for hot rooms up to 1,000 square feet. Depending on whether you’re replacing an existing unit and already have the parts or not, based on your needs, you will need to purchase either a set of condenser flanges , a ceiling duct kit , or an air chute kit . Cooling Features A direct-drive fan that pushes cool air directly into your space. It features a digital thermostat that lets you set your ideal temperature and set it to fan mode (the fan has 3 speeds). You can also select "Auto" fan speed, which selects a speed based on your set temperature. A large operating range from 60 to 110 degrees F for any tough indoor environment. An internal pump lifts water up and out of the unit for continuous operation (condensate can travel to drains up to 150 square feet away). An alarm will sound and operation will be cut off if an issue with the pump or drain hose is detected. Its large external tank holds up to 5 gallons of water for short-term operation. If the tank is full, an alarm will sound and the operation will shut off.
